On Gerlitzen, at the centre of Carinthia, the motto is "cyclists welcome".
This region boasts everything that makes a "biker’s
heart" beat faster. There are tours for any demand – from flat cycle paths along
the shores of lake Ossiachersee to demanding tours up to Gerlitzen Alpe.
Watch the mountain top come closer and dream of the altitude, the sun and the feeling of freedom waiting for you on the summit of Gerlitzen. We would like to present three bike tours starting on the summit of Gerlitzen (1,911 m altitude) and at the cable car middle station/Kanzelhöhe (1,500 m altitude).

Duration: approx. 1 hour
Gerlitzen Kanzelhöhe – Treffen
– Annenheim/Lake Ossiachersee
Route length: 20 km, surface conditions:
100% asphalt, difference in altitude: 1,050 m
Cycle tour 2
Duration: approx. 1.5 hours
Gerlitzen summit plateau –
Feuerberg – Bodensdorf/Lake Ossiachersee – Annenheim/Lake Ossiachersee
Route
length: 25 km to Annenheim, (18 km to Bodensdorf), surface conditions: 24 km
asphalt, 1 km dirt track (only at upper summit area), difference in altitude:
1,400 m

Duration: approx. 2 hours
Gerlitzen summit plateau –
Stifterboden – Arriach – Treffen – Annenheim/Lake Ossiachersee
Route length:
30 km, surface conditions: 29 km asphalt, 1 km levelled gravel road (upper
summit area), difference in altitude: 1,400 m
Bicycle transfer to the lake:
No problem, if you’d like to start a
leisurely round trip along
the shores of lake Ossiachersee. Your bicycle will be
transported to the lake by cable car (for a
fee).
