One of the most popular destinations is the “Kaning kneipp and mills trail” – a hiking trail that boasts unforgettable impressions:
An idyll made up of old mills alongside the Roßbach brook, leading into the Langalmtal valley in the midst of the Nockberge Mountains. Further along this path you’ll reach traditional mountain lodges where you should definitely stop to enjoy the platter of tasty cold cuts.
And if you’ve still got enough stamina and if your enjoyment in admiring the magnificent landscape is great enough, you could do something to stimulate your circulation or simply relax your feet in the refreshing water on the way back. The carefully laid out Kneipp pools along the hiking trail make foran inviting treat.
In summer we put together an exciting and varied family programme for our guests from different countries.
Just as you wish, you can participate in day or half-day trips; for example, to the wild Tscheppaschlucht gorge to marvel at the elemental force of the water or to the picturesque Maltatal valley and the artists’ town of Gmünd. Likewise, you can enjoy a tour around the famous Lake Wörthersee.
Children and teenagers can have adventures or discover and try out new things with our expert when it comes to leisure.
The programme includes, among other things, trips to the forest rope park, or a day witha special theme (always on Fridays) – here you can slip into the role of a pirate or learn how to build a tepee, and much more. And those who want to take part in our version of the X Factor in the middle of Carinthia will be big stars on our stage. The children's talent show is a lot of fun for everyone.
