Cycling with panoramic views

You can enjoy unlimited cycling fun around the Gerlitzen. The Villach-Ossiacher See region boasts a variety of cycling paths and mountain bike trails. Starting at the Sonnenhotel Zaubek, you are awaited by really demanding or easy family-friendly tours – because against payment of a small fee, your bicycle will be transported to Lake Ossiacher See by cable car and back to the mountain again. The network of cycling paths around the lakes, along the River Drau and even further opens up in Annenheim (cable car valley station).

Smart cycling

You can cycle and experience culture at the same time, go on a culinary cycle tour, or set out on a cross-border trip to Italy on the designated R3C cycle path. Whether you ride a mountain bike, a crossbike, an all-round bicycle or a trekking bike, and no matter whether you haven’t ridden a bike for a long time or whether you are in a perfect shape: in our region you’ll find a challenge that is just right for you. Over the years, wearing a helmet whileskiing has caught on … and so we recommend you wear a helmet and protect your headwhencycling, too!

For last-minute cyclists

If you only get the urge to go cycling once you’re already on holiday, we will gladly provide you with a bike. Once a week we set off on an organised trip together!
