Arrival by car

Arriving from the east (via Vienna-Graz):

A2 Südautobahn motorway as far as the junction for Villach (Knoten Villach), continue on the A10 Tauernautobahn motorway towards Salzburg, then take the first exit, "Villach/Ossiacher See". After the motorway underpass, go left off the roundabout towards Treffen on the B98.Turn right at the end of the village of Treffen to Kanzelhöhe/Gerlitzenalpe. After 10 km on the mountain road you will arrive at the SonnenhotelZaubek.

Arriving from the north (via Salzburg):

A10 Tauernautobahn motorway, through the Oswaldibergtunnel, right after it take the exit, "Villach/Ossiacher See". Continue as described above.

Arriving from Italy:

A2 Südautobahn motorway as far as the junction for Villach (Knoten Villach), continue on the A10 Tauernautobahnmotorway towards Salzburg, then take the first exit, "Villach/Ossiacher See". Continue as described above.

Arriving from the south (Slovenia, Croatia, Italy):

A11 Karawankenautobahn motorway as far as the junction for Villach (Knoten Villach), continue on the A10 Tauernautobahn motorway towards Salzburg, then take the first exit, "Villach/Ossiacher See". Continue as described above.

Important information:

Electronic toll system on the mountain road. Please press for a ticket (like in a parking garage). We will give you a toll card for the duration of your stay!

Please note when arriving in winter:

The mountain road is cleared and gritted when there is snowfall. Winter tyres are required by law, as is carrying snow chains with you.

Arrival by train

Our region can be reached from all directions in Europe via the main railway station in Villach. We will pick you up from the Villach main railway station free of charge. Meeting point for pick-up: on the platform at the lift (the station is large).

If you have booked a stay for 7 days or more, we will pick you up free of charge.
